Research Assistants
Our lab is looking for UM students at the undergraduate or Master level as Research Assistants (RAs). As an RA, your responsibilities typically include helping with recruiting participants (on the phone and email and on site), testing adult and child participants, collecting data in the lab on UM campus or in local schools, and helping with stimuli creation and data analysis.
We ask for at least 1-semester commitment and at least 5 hours/week during the non-recess school period. Satisfactory English skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and good time management skills are required. Experience with psychology research softwares (e.g., E-prime, OpenSesame, R, MATLAB with Psychtoolbox) or a general interest in learning them is desirable. RAs will have an opportunity to learn research in Cognitive Science and get involved in ongoing research in the lab. RAs can also optionally get experience with eye-tracking, programming, and statistical software.
If you are interested, please complete the Join Our Team form. We will be in touch with you as soon as we are looking for new RAs. If you have any questions, please direct them towards our research team at ABCDevLab@gmail.com.
